still kind of in disbelief that I actually took this picture. The sinkhole’s water was 150 feet deep and had a ledge that you could dive off of from halfway up. Probably the best experience of my life.

Cornell West has degrees from Harvard, and Princeton. Taught at Harvard and the University of Paris, and was in the fucking Matrix…
This never was about clothing, attitude, stature, or economic status, this is about black vs white. This is what the fuck racism is.

People You Should Know: Mœbius
Jean Henri Gaston Giraud (French: [ʒiʁo]; 8 May 1938 – 10 March 2012) was a French artist, cartoonist, and writer, who worked in the Franco-Belgian bandes dessinées tradition. Giraud earned worldwide fame, predominantly under the pseudonym Mœbius, and to a lesser extent Gir, which he used for the Blueberry series and his paintings. Esteemed by Federico Fellini, Stan Lee and Hayao Miyazaki among others, he received international acclaim.[1] He has been described as the most influential bandes dessinées artist after Hergé.[2]
His most famous works include the series Blueberry, created with writer Jean-Michel Charlier, featuring one of the first anti-heroes in Western comics. Under the pseudonym Moebius he created a wide range of science fiction and fantasy comics in a highly imaginative and surreal, almost abstract style, the most famous of which are Arzach, the Airtight Garage of Jerry Cornelius, and The Incal. Blueberry was adapted for the screen in 2004 by French director Jan Kounen. In 1997, Moebius and co-creator Alejandro Jodorowsky sued Luc Besson for using The Incal as inspiration for his movie The Fifth Element, a lawsuit which they lost.[3]
Moebius contributed storyboards and concept designs to numerous science fiction and fantasy films, including Alien, Willow, Tron (1982), The Abyss (1989) and The Fifth Element.

I’d like to correct this:
“God, send us someone to cure AIDS, cancer, etc., etc.”
“I did, but you gave them a substandard education because they lived in an area with poor funding due to low property taxes.
I did, but you let them die because they couldn’t afford healthcare.
I did, but due to racism you stomped out their potential and didn’t give them the same opportunities.
I did, but you make a college education too unaffordable while giving the big bankers passes.
I did, but you saw a homeless youth before you saw a kid with potential.
I did, but you kicked the downtrodden while they were already shoulder deep in sinking sand.”

reblogging for the comment

I did, but you forced her to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term, forcing her to become a single mother with limited income, having to sacrifice her college dreams in order to provide for her unwanted child.

fucking BOOM ^
